About Angela Caldwell

Angela Caldwell has loved cameras ever since she could hold one.  She would ask her parents for her own camera on every vacation and special occasion. As a child, she remembers having a 110, 35mm and disposable cameras.

Angela always loved to catch people in their environment which made for some wonderful moments frozen forever. When her parents realized her vacation pictures were better than theirs, she became the official vacation photographer.

Upon entering college, Angela studied videography and photography and was encouraged by her professors when she was told she had an eye. After a few years focusing on her videography, she won best cinematography for her work on the short film "No way out". Angela is still active as a digital cinemotographer, she works with her husband Joe and you can learn more about their work at www.rocketcircus.com. Angela is also published photographer, her work has appeared in newspapers, business journals, and advertising.

 

After living in Los Angeles Angela and her husband moved back to Virgina. Angela worked shortly as a teacher and then started a photography business. She wanted to move her photography beyond only working with clients. Angela wanted to do a more personal project so became Ball and Chain: A journey to freedom.

 

Angela is in the pre-production phase of another marriage project essay. She has also completed a rough draft of her first novel. Keep your eyes open there's more to come.
